The cop might have been a jerk.... but Moats endangered the public by speeding and running red lights and stop signs. Regardless of his hazard lights, that would not have stopped him from hitting someone. Both were wrong in this situation.

Youre telling me you dont know why you stop at a red light or stop sign? If I run the light and t-bone you will you hold me responsible? Will you expect me to pay for your damages? Perhaps what makes you most upset is seeing someone question authority. It's been drilled into you in government schools, through society, boot camp, etc. The government is in charge, they are good, and the people they say are bad are really bad right? Wake up, they are using you to enslave others.

I'm not advocating no responsibility. quite the opposite. If Moates or anyone else uses their own judgment, makes a mistake and causes damage, they should be responsible.

Ok lets get this straight. First off the officer is not endangering the public, he turns on his sirens and lights to let the public know he is running code.
