This was a demo track that was never released on Fingertight's cd "In the name of Progress" ...Why I do not know, because it is the greatest and best song I have ever heard in my life!! Lyrics below...

Let me paint a picture for you. It's a stormy night, after a cold December day. I step out into the light, you step back which makes me afraid of what I see, and what I see is me. I can see everything, just carry all of me. (All of me) As long as you hold me in your hands, I remain your prisoner. Last night I woke up in the middle of your life, you spoke of devils and demons that I can not explain. They came up to me, they made me feel dark and evil. I see you reach out to me when you're calling, and I've strangled all my words. I am grasping onto the only thing that I have left. When I raise my hands follow me to this place I have mapped out. The sun never sets, and the moon is hardly out. The stars seem to laugh at me, as I stare up into the sky, and on my perch, I can see you as clear, as clear as ice. And I see you. (I see you) You're holding (you're holding) on my sky, 'cause I've reached for the only thing I can hold, and all I see. I see you reach out to me, when you're calling and I strangle all my words. I am grasping onto the only thing that I have left. When I raise my hands I am holding on to you. When I raise my hands you're the only thing.

  • Music, real music.

  • @architype CORRECTION on my previous post. I figured it out, but it took some doing. Fuckin' Serg, lol. He's playing a very weird version of an A chord, I'm not sure what the fuck its called, but theres probably a name for it. Anyway, for those of you who are Fingertight and/or guitar enthusiasts, I may just post a "How To" video on how to play the song, at least, as best as I could figure anyway, which is pretty fuckin' close I'd say. LOL.

  • @architype Nah, its not capo, at least not the way I figured it out. I figured it out in drop d and its just a two track deal.

  • @fullclip16117 think he had a bar that held down the whole fret for this song so he can make it work. if u dont have it u cant do it.

  • @mtz9erfan Turns out that its not that hard, its just two tracks, which why I was having difficulty.

  • @fullclip16117 good luck figuring out serg's cords he was crazy.

  • I used to live with the drummer kirk. I used to go to all their practices in jesse's(bassist) backyard. I watched them write all their first songs. There never be a band like them, they were unique.

  • Have you hurd 3 kings?

  • Anyone figure out the chords on this? For some reason I'm having a hell of a time figuring out the clean riff in the verse. Its just weird for some reason. I've tried both standard and drop d and I can seem to get it. Help?

  • @Softmachine505 Their hometown is in Martinez Ca. In the East Bay.
