Immer im Strom der angesagtesten DJ`s und Musiker darf er Aufträge und Co-Produktionen von Leuten wie Deadmau5, Mary J Blige, Armand van Helden, Axwell oder Tiesto in seine Agenda schreiben. Ohne potentielle, zukünftige Erfolge tot zureden scheint das Jahr 2010 das erfolgreichste oder zumindest die Ansage für eine super erfolgreichste Phase gewesen zu sein. Er veröffentlichte Hit um Hit, die ständig und beharrlich immer die Beatport Charts an sich rissen. Und die Welle klang nicht ab, auch 2011 nahm er im Sturm. Sein Brand No Xcuses (Radio Show) hat sich weltweilt in die Radiokataloge eingetragen. Zuletzt noch ein erfreulicher Ausblick für 2012. Neulich hat EDX schon sein Mastering für sein neues Album veröffentlicht und dazu eine kleine Vorschau hochgeladen.

With the release of his long-awaited debut album «On The Edge», February 2012 will be forever remembered for the amazing achievement of Switzerland-based artist, EDX.

«On The Edge» is the result of years of experience that characterized EDX's past in the studio and on stage at his numerous gigs across the globe. It will take you on a journey of pure Life and Love. Even the most demanding ears will fall in love with the catchy sounds of this album, which features some of the most amazing voices in the world including Nadia Ali, Sarah McLeod, Tamra Keenan, Hadley, Sam Obernik, John Williams and Jerique.

Over the past years EDX a.k.a. Maurizio Colella has been making a name for himself in the international EDM scene, playing the world's finest clubs and biggest festivals -- everywhere from Miami to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, São Paolo, Rio de Janeiro, Seoul, Taipei, all the way to Melbourne and Sydney as well as holding a weekly summer residency 2011 at the world's number one club -- Space, Ibiza.
