^ brando wasnt trained by the hack strasberg he was trained by adler who went back to europe to study stanizlavsky's revised version of the system ..what strasberg taught was a flawed incomplete version of what stanislavsky was trying to get at ..adler teaches her students about becoming characters and how..acting is a spiritual thing ..that is practiced from a selfless angle ..studying adler and being a hollywood actor.is the biggest contradiction if i ever heard one

the best ever as a human and actor
-
its amazing...his eyes in this scene showed the memories he had with his horse
-
@RonyMexico He sure was strange. Great actor, but very strange..........
-
What a fuck man, it's really really hard to watch, Brando is not crying here, he's sobbing
-
@RonyMexico So?

THIS sort of lokos absurd. he did his real crying when he was talking about re enlisting and all that "shower and brothels business with young soldiers. that was his real emotion in this film, this is just comical.
@MASTERS9663 Absolutely agree. I've never seen him like this before!
He once said "Humphrey Bogart played himself in every movie.
Clark Gable always played Clark Gable" and Clark Gable even admitted that.
but Brando, every single films he portrayed, It's like different person.

never was there a toughter crying scene on a male actor or a better one than Brando in this one... maybe Olivier in King Lear is a match
