Short description:
-I drove around looking for funnel clouds (spoiler: saw none)
-3 storms stuck my area, this was filmed after the 1st and right as the 2nd entered our area (see DARK clouds starting at 14:35)
-There are two siren activations in this video. The first is at 2:30. The first activation features the Lyndon VFD 3T22, and the Warrick Park 2001. The second activation is at 8:50. This is exclusively the Wilder Elementary Thunderbolt 1000T. I was 1 street away when it activated, and I went to Wilder's parking lot to try to film the rest. It was dark, but if you look closely, you can see it. Then, as I drive away from Wilder, you can quickly hear Westport Middle's high-pitched 1000T as well.

Here is the scenario:
These storms came on fast! At 7 : 30, the sun was out, temps in the 80's, and there were a few showers off to the west. I was at dinner with my family when, at 7 : 32, I received an alert on my phone that indicated Jefferson County had been issued a tornado warning. I was confused, but got up and went outside. That's when I heard the sirens. In a matter of 10 minutes, those showers had escalated into a nice storm- with funnel clouds in tow. The warning was issued because the storm was crossing the Ohio river out of Indiana into far western portions of Louisville, namely PRP and Shively.

By the time we left dinner at 8 : 00, it was raining buckets. The sirens continued to wail, and on the radio we heard the system was approaching Lyndon and St. Matthews- precisely where we were. I drove home as fast as I could and we all went in to watch the news. I took footage in the front yard as well, which will be uploaded here in a separate video. The system moved past us, and I got in the car to go look around. I took my moms phone and car and took off.

At the end of this video, you hear my moms phone ringing, which killed the video...but she was warning me of the second cell headed in our direction again. You can hear the meteorologists in the video as they warn St. Matthews and Lyndon to take cover again.
