David Cook "Rolling In The Deep" Acoustic (Adele/Cover) @Pet-a-Palooza, Las Vegas 4.9.11

All I can say is "Wow"! David's cover of Adele's "Rolling. . ." is absolutely amazing!!! And I don't think David even realized what a fantastic performance he had just given. As you can see, the team was still working out difficulty with the audio, etc. And our usually good natured David, as you can really see at the end, was . . . Not a happy camper! As we now know, Radio Stations and Bloggers all over the country are talking about this amazing performance. Enjoy! This Record has the most Amazing, Original music, that I have heard in years!

Went to my first David Cook show Thurs night and I've fell in love with him! I've spent the last 6 days on YouTube watching live videos. He's amazing! Every cover he does is amazing!!

In my opinion, this is the best male cover of Rollin' In The Deep, because:

1. It's live, so no attempt to smooth it out with technology.

2. No slowing down the tempo. I think slowing it down makes this song sound lazy and it's a raging song.

3. The high pitch that's close to the original. With a male voice, that's really respectable.

4. The band sounds great, even with audio difficulties.

Cook could easily put a cd with only covers. I liked all his covers in American Idol. Eleanor Rigby was genial, IMO.
