Ricardo finito lopez was great because he retire undefeated in pro and in amateur, but is i cant see him as the best bacause he fought in small weights and never move up in other weight category to fight bigger boxers like sanchez and chavez did. But he still a LEGEND TO.

Sanchez was lightyears ahead of the 1dimensional Chavez! as for LaPorte not going the distance had it been 15? he had already taken Julio's best, and only lost narrowly. Sanchez's victory over LaPorte was not only more decisive than Chavez's, but done in their natural weight of 126 not 130.

Remember that style make the diference in boxing Chavez was more like a puncher boxer and Sanchez was more a counter puncher. When sanchez fought Laporte, Sanchez outbox Laporte but when Chavez fought Laporte it was more toe to toe like a war. Laporte was very strong but to slow for Sanchez. Thats why Sanchez beat him more dicisive than Chavez.

yes that's exactly the point, Sanchez was a superior boxer/puncher than Chavez or LaPorte for that matter; obviously.

You must give credit to Ramirez, he was an excellent fighter. Not many could endure 11 rounds with a prime Chavez and not many have. Still, Chavez is the legend here, no doubt.

We have to give respect to because Ramirez is a boxing legend to. You are right not every boxer endure 11 rounds with Chavez in his prime. I cant compare Sanchez with Chavez because they fought in diferent weight class. But both were the best of there time. It would pas a long time to see two legends like Sanchez and Chavez again.
