Ramirez is unable to continue after he is cut by an accidental headbutt, for which Chavez has a point deducted.

  • 98-91 wtf

  • Chavez won a lot of close fights; Ramirez lost a few very close fights; that's the difference beetween these two great SONORAN fighters. Chavez and Ramirez were actually more than just close friends; they were (are) COMPADRES. Ramires -I believe- is god father to Julio Jr. One from Huatabampo Sonora and the other one from Cd. Obregon Sonora; one Mayo the other one Yaqui. Almost 200 wins between the two of them! Ramirez was robbed at least 5 times.

  • Ahora caigo por que a la guera chichona panocha gedionda de la Paris le gusta el box. Salud.

  • That was a clean knockdown, Richard Steele blew that one. Ramirez's glove touched the canvas. So much for Steele giving all King fighters every benefit of the doubt. People have selective memory's as well. While people will say that Steele stole the fight from Taylor, they fail to realize that Chavez's first official loss was because Steele deducted 2 points for low blows. Also Steele let Taylor land many, many punches to Chavez's hip in their 1st fight. Only warning Taylor once.

  • @bmillerdrums pernell got robbed like marquez got robbed

  • Julio actually looked a little concerned awaiting the decision. I thought he pretty much was destroying Ramirez although Ramirez was tough thats for sure. So true about the heavier blows. His punches had such a different sound than other lighter weight fighter ive ever heard. Just so thick and thudding sound. Really sound like they fucking hurt bad..

  • @dennisrayso Actually he lost to Ramirez once and had a draw with Chavez... Little off on that statement bro

  • Que lastima de pelea con el cabezazo de Chávez se corto la pelea pero esa pelea iba para largo porque José Luis Ramírez tanbien pegaba duro ahí esta su récord. Saludos.

  • i think ramirez is one of the toughest boxers of all time

  • @quitatequeahitevoy im thai
