Awesome slow motion launch!

Harmsworth: Finally not windy enough to launch my Mercury Atlas. It launched well. Cloud cover made it difficult to followm see and film. 5 launches. Fins broke on one side upon a landing, but I had another set made. All D engines. Was going to go for the last E engine, but the D spacer was wedged in there and couldn't get it out. Next time. Go to etchasketch1515. I have a bunch of little rocket launches as well. Haven't done this in years. Fun!!!

Thought it only appropriate to post a video response (showing our newest rocket vid) to this video, which provided the inspiration for our sound track! Hope you're well, neighbor.

@Rapidnadion What an awesome video. Looks like a good start for a New Year of Rapidnadion videos! Keep up the good work.

Was that a D or E engine on this launch? Looks like an E due to the height. Nice blue sky compared to my launches. Going to try again soon. I did break a fin on a landing, but I had an extra set made just in case. lol.

@etchasketch1515 It was a D12-3

I had such a hard time trying to put the retro tower together and getting it to point straight up that I ordered a second set and don't want the thing to break upon landing. It comes with the 12" parachute and I put an 18" on. Plus it is superglued to the max!! I'll film the launch when I get to it.
