Everybody starts at -0- points for each qualifying period.. Youth QH World show qualifying period is May 1, 2010 - April 31, 2011. AQHA World qualifying period is Aug 01 2010 to July 31, 2011. Then it starts all over again. You will need to join AQHA and your horse must have QH papers. Check your state's QH association's website to see what shows are in your area. Not all shows have hunter/jumper. You'll just have to get a show bill or ask.

@JumperPrincess105 There is a youth world cup and a youth world show. You do have to qualify for them. Check out your state's quarter horse association or AQHA.com, or better yet their youth site: AQHYA.com for up-to-date information. It is a lot of fun. Hope to see you there!

Thanks. I loved jumping to the music AQHA picked out for us. Hollywood and I cantered around, jump the fences and just plain "had fun!"
