  • @NaturallyNolan actually I just saw a tip that might help with that issue. Soak medjool dates overnight, then puree dates and soak water together separately before adding other ingredients. Supposedly that will keep out the chunks. I found the tip on one of naturalkandy's recipes of goneraw.com

  • @NaturallyNolan medjool dates seem to be the softest, they might blend more easily than other varieties. I'm not sure since I use a vitamix so I have to worry more about over blending and heating it than it not getting smooth enough, but I think it might be the dates you've tried. Maybe.

  • When I put dates in my smoothies, it's not smooth, it's chunky little bits. Bothers me!

  • If you feel tempted to eat anything cooked/heated you need to go find some new raw food ideas from others. It is usually a sign that your body is asking for something you are missing. When you have everything your body needs you won't crave cooked food.
