  • Very Good.. I also have not done any good with corn and watermelon. But you mentioned compost along with a polite Does compost have something to do with blight ? I just subscribed to you just now..

  • @Teddybearcop48 I have read that sometimes the blight doesn't get destroyed in the compost so I am not going to take a chance. I have also not put any plants from this years tomatoes in my compost. Next year I will use my compost everywhere except where I grow my tomatoes and use compost tea (from another compost source) on them. This may be over kill but I want to make sure that I get rid of it 100% for next year.

Thank you watching and the sub!!!!

  • Yummy cucumbers : )

  • @Planting81 I just picked a bunch today and made my first batch of pickles! Waiting the 4 - 6 weeks before I can try them will be the hardest part =] Thank you for watching.

  • This is the 1st year my cucs did well. I think keeping them off the ground in the tomato cages helped a lot.

I will have to plant my tomatoes in a different spot next year for sure then. Thanks for the tip!

I'm not sure on the recipe on the peppers yet as I never made them before. I will have to give mom a call and find out how she made them =] I will also look on youtube as there are a ton of recipes for sure. The rest of the peppers I will have to dehydrate.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Try using Sea-Crop at 16 oz/acre or 1:25 every 5 days for 30 days, then weekly throughout growing season. This will also boost mineral content giving the fruit better keeping quality, taste and other fungal resistance besides boosting production. See agriculturesolutions.ca for veggie program-also qualifies for organic production.Enhancing the soil biology will prevent bacterial, fungal and insect infestations.I stopped blight using Sea-Crop and had new growth in 2-3 weeks. Tomatoes will regrow.
