@Marakulous43 yeah... hatred sucks but it's inside the very nature of human beings and it hardly can be changed. People have to learn how to live together without wars ... and all of those who disagree must perish =)

Well, the same happen to Spain. The traditional lyrics were composed for Franco, so most of the Spaniards reject them. The Spain Government decided that no lyrics is the solution. Recently a new version was composed, but it was too cheese, nobody liked it.

I mean this anthem is no longer in use. Now we are using the old Soviet melody, composed in 1943, with lyrics by Mihalkov-Sr. The funny thing about the former anthem which is being played is that it never had any lyrics. Comissions were called, numerous texts were were offered... but to no avail. Neither of the texts was found appropriaste. So we were laughing at ourselves throughout the whole 90s - LOL, we are a country with an anthem without any lyrics!
