Vada's Infantile Spasm's After ACTH

Vada was diagnosed with Infantile Spasms/ West syndrome when she was five and a half months old. She had been having seizures approx. two weeks before being put on ACTH injections. She was on ACTH for 11 weeks. After coming off of the ACTH, with in two days signs of seizure activity returned.

My son was on ACTH many, many years ago. His seizure control was short lived after the ACTH treatments...He was eventually placed on a drug that was used for compassion use, and its been a miracle drug for him. I hope your daughters seizures are controlled. (((HUGS)))

I have seen other children/ infants have infantile spasms and this does not look like one to me... perhaps another type of seizure? Has her EEG's and other testings showed other types of seizure disorders and has her neurologist seen this video? It could be that she is just cooing but also having a different type of seizure at the same time, but not as severe as an infantile spasm. Please continue to let us know how she is doing - prayers are with her and the people who love and care for her <3
