  • hay i got a issue with mine i have system restore on but every time i go back it says error not able to do a system restore can a av stop you from doing one cause i got norton360

  • i tried the "re enable portable" it work..

    "System Restore has been turned off by group policy. To turn on System Restore, contact your domain administrator." - is gone

    and a new one - "System restore is not able to protect your computer. Please restart your computer, and then run the system restore again." i restart then its still the same... i don't know what to do now...

  • Why would anyone want their system restore be turned off

  • heres what you have to do guys if its turned off by policy GO TO ADMIN ACCOUNT WHICH BY DEFAUALT HAS NO PASSWORD AND NOW GO TO RUN AND TYPE ''control userpasswords2'' no quotes and now click enter and set your username to admin now you can turn on/off system restore YOUR WELCOME

  • When I go to properties for My Computer, that System stuff Tab isn't even there. Is there a way to re-enable that option tab? I would appreciate any help....
