My goal is to buy some solar panels. I am also going to make my own home made generator as soon as I get some old treadmills. They have DC motors in them that can be turned into generators.

I have a new obsession with taking this awful and very hot sun, and stealing the power from it. It's just very expensive to get into. This year I will purchase some solar panels and every year I will get a little bit more. A couple panels here and there and soon I should be able to run things without paying the electric company.

The little battery, I have a cord running from it. I took a 3 dollar extender thing from walmart and cut the end that plugs into your car off, and wired it to the battery. I can run stuff like my air compressor easily, without being outside next to the cars.

  • Could that thing power one of the really small mini fridges that only hold 4 cans of pop if you had a 12 volt battery so i could put it in my school locker

  • @MrDel391 i am pretty sure. if it will plug into a cigarette lighter, then it will for sure.

  • Its a good start, fans going bad in the inverter.

  • @dpdevil1 I got a new inverter two days ago, after I recorded this... The inverter had a - sign on the red cable and a + sign on the black cable. Well I was used to matching red with red, etc... I got a new battery and all it had was a + and -. So I matched them and it fried the inverter... lol. Black And Decker must have put the wrong colors on each cable. lol. I have a new one now, so it's ok.
