Battletoads Rat Race Glitch

I've noticed there doesn't seem to be any other videos of this on youtube so I decided to make a vid of it. It can only be done in 2 player. You do need to be in that relative area otherwise you will get caught in either the fan, or gas. Also as you can see, it can be somewhat difficult to achieve. And yes, I know... playing through normally is more fun but this is still an interesting glitch.

Also note when you get to the boss, it is possible for one of the bombs to go off if you don't hurry and defeat him and if this happens you will fall into an infinite loop of them constantly going off and you don't respawn back. =o It's also possible none will go off.

How did you figure this glitch out? Just by jumping? ;)

If you move "left" and "right" in midair, the 'Toad will then stand in the air. After a while, this makes the game unplayable of course, but it looks pretty funny though. ;)

It works at least with the emulator "Rock NES X" for both single and two- player mode. ;)
