Germ Busters Fight the H1N1 Flu

Champaign-Urbana Public Health District has created "Germ Busters"!

This program was used throughout the summer to educate pre-school through 5th grade kids about how to prevent the spread of germs. The program was so successful that we were overwhelmed with requests once school started. To help get the message out, we created a DVD. This is free for anyone to use. You can go to our website www.c-uphd.org for printable materials to accompany the DVD.

The "Germ Busters" will be making live appearances in parades, at health fairs, and flu shot clinics, etc. The entire costume can be created for less that $20 each. Feel free to replicate this as you like.

CUPHD purchases materials to present at the live appearances (rubber glow bracelets, tattoos, pencils, etc.) We use these promotional materials to advertise our website and Facebook page (Champaign County Prepares).
