Very cool! I made one in DIgital II as well. Check mine out! Its a bit neater, but same sort of function (4-way traffic light).

Very nice. I read some comments and I fully understand why messy breadboards exist. I am an electronics tech and ham radio operator. Its better to solve problems this way. I hope you graduated top of your class.

Do all the wires do that? Or did you program something and put it in it?

Man, good job, next time think on a Microcontroller based brain.. your circuit is really messy!

nice device man

hi can you tell me about data sheet of this circuit components

How'd you like to be the poor sap in car #2, waiting on a third car to show up in the middle of the night, to get the signals to change.
You'd be there forever waiting...

Agreed. However, an engineer's job isn't to question the logic of it (although don't think that I didn't), but instead only to meet the requirements given to him by his professor/boss/customer.

Wow, could the wiring be any messier? Other than that, a pretty nice project.
"Door is my hero?" I don't get it.

If you look closely to the board, you might be able to tell that it started out very neat and even color-coated. After several stressful all-nighters and countless on-the-fly design changes, though, neatness began to suffer a bit!
Thanks for the comments, everybody.

I can relate to trying to keeping electronic circuits clean. Cool set-up. I am assuming correct that for train drive you used a mod 3 J-K, and for the tram and base lock-down a NAND that actives a 1 hz flip flop?

I'm sorry, I'm not exactly sure what you mean. The entire thing was controlled by a state machine, a central "brain" of two D-Flip Flops. Pretty much everything else was just decoding logic to decide which LEDs to illuminate and for how long and which state should come next.
It has been a while since I've even thought about this project, having moved on to bigger and better things. I'm sure there are far better ways to do it than I did, but I didn't know that at the time as this was my first!
