Highlights from York City's famous 3-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford. Possibly the best giant killing ever.

  • What a stupid commentator " He couldnt get out of the way" HE FUCKING JUMPED IN THE WAY you idiot. PLus "controversial penalty? it was never a penalty what a dick

  • I'm Scunthorpe through and through but i will admit that York are my number two club come on the minster men

  • YCFC

  • I remember listening to this on the radio, and Fergie's 25th anniversary at Man U reminded me of it

  • i was there ! what a fantastic night ! i foned man u up to see if i could buy a vid of the match , they said yes but its only recorded for training - well i posted it for sale on ebay the other day , and on the red vid cartrage they spelt there name as munchester united - who the fuck are munchester ! ycfc for ever ! clive

  • @Pogogacy beckham was like, 19/20 then, hadn't taken on the world... and neville wasnt a complete regular either. and don't forget what an inspiration cantona was. i'm a united fan but that was a total result for york... we should have been beating teams from those divisions anyway, there's little excuse... i get that. its good for english football that results like this can happen

  • YES! Giant killing man utd. I was looking for a low league team to take on as a giant challange in fm 12 and I've found it. York City.

  • They've fucked up the substitution! It was Paul Baker, not Paul Atkin who came on. And got sent off!

  • @vivahate100 Parker, Irwin, Pallister, Sharpe, Beckham, Neville, McClair, Giggs. Hmmmm. So that’s three fringe/reserve players, and eight first choice regulars. You’re right, what a shit team. I always find it funny when arrogant idiotic armchair Man Utd fans try to propagate the myth that City only won that night because United fielded a reserve side and try and dismiss the result on that basis.

  • @andy12345963 Strength Squad? Mcgibbon, Pilkinton, Davies? Hmmmm.
