Sometimes I wonder how the magic can be made with the combination of legends. Not just one. There are five legends sharing credit on crafting such a wonderful song. None other than the Musical legend Ilayaraja scored the music. Ilayaraja has used T.M.S a lot in early songs. For duets it was S.Janaki who joined T.M.S in IR's songs. S.Janaki was gaining a new glory with Ilayaraja's entry. Even Ilayaraja composed a song in Vetriku Oruvan with a very rare combination of T.M.S and S.P.Shailaja (for Thoranam Aadidum Medaiyil). But in this song the Melody Queen P.Suseela paired with T.M.S. It is not a new pair for that period. T.M.S and P.Suseela had sung numerous songs together in the great legendary of M.S.Viswanathan. But T.M.S and P.Suseela combination in Ilayaraja's music make this song more special. Lyrics was penned by the poetic legend Kaviyarasar Kannadasan. In my opinion, there is none equal to him before and after him. Irrespective of all the comments, Nadigar Thilagam's acting skills always facinating. He had proved his transformations in Thevarmagan, Mudhalmariyadhai, Paritchaiku Neramachu, Uruvangal Maralam and all. He is a wonderful director actor and surely a legend. And his vacancy is still to be filled.
