What rot !! Practical science research, not theoretical science is "keeps us mving forward. Examples, are Thomas Edison, Nicola Telsa, Jonas Salk, Louis Pasteur just to name a few are the ones we owe a debt to. But for gov't to take from the common man to give to these theoretical scientist is a waste. Perhaps one day there will be a cure for fools like you who know nothing about science or its history.

It is right to be concerned about the direction science takes but to talk about defunding all of science is frankly ridiculous. It is only through research that we can hope to find treatment for modern ailments such cancer, diabetes, AIDS, heart desease and alzheimer's.

Please close down all scientific projects, Defund them. They only benefit a few thousand people, while millions work hard, for what... a lighter wallet for him and his families. Our govenment has been seduced by these wolfs who who suck the peoples monies out of their pockets so that hey can benefit from the monies given to them to fund their pet scientific projects.
