The ProVector™ Bt (patent pending)is featured on CNN Inside Africa. The ProVector™ Bt imitates the look, smell, and taste of flowers in order to trick the adult mosquitoes into ingesting Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti). With approximately 3,000 mosquito species found globally they are among the most efficient vectors of animal and human pathogens causing many debilitating and often fatal diseases. Most malarial infections occur within the home where up to 1,500 mosquitoes may enter to bite and rest, waiting to feed again the next evening. The goal of ProVector™ Bt is to bring an inexpensive device for people to use within and around their homes to reduce the number of mosquitoes and drive down the number of needless malarial deaths
