Raw Sangha #132 - Urban Micro Farming at Elevate Ojai, CA

Aloha Sangha!

Today was awesome, amazing and educational! I got a chance to grab the attention and time of my dear brother Kevin who is a man of many trades. Kevin's number one passion however is the environment and sustainability. This morning Kevin showed Brother Echo what he's doing to make the Elevate (Muse Glen) property in Ojai 100% self sustainable.

Kevin has a big task ahead of him but with his knowledge and experience I have no doubt he's well on his way to making Elevate green as can be. Oh did I mention Kevin is already planning gardening, micro farming, natural home building classes and much more.

I was blown away today by Kevin's passion and more so by what he's actually done in the world. Another aspect I could really appreciate from our earlier conversation today was that he had several different well thought out views of how our world can be if we all start to educate ourselves, work with one another and communicate.

After talking with this brother today I walked away nodding my head in approval and a larger than normal smile began to work it's way across my sun baked face. The reason for the big smile and sense of gratitude was that talking with Kevin for me today was a sure sign from the universe that I'm on the path to greater understanding and Ojai is exactly where Brother Echo needs to be. Be looking for much more coming from Brother Echo and Kevin in the way of sustainability and conscious living.

Did you know 2011 is going to be the best year ever?

Yes people this year has so much in store for us all. I'm so happy to be alive and I'm ready to change the world one moment at a time.

Just wondering, did the compost piles smell like a garbage truck?

@lovelacey41 ha haaaa no it's not bad at all, I spread it around and besides I'm the only one doing it. I'd imagine if everyone were doing it, it might be a problem but I'd much rather have that problem than everyone sending to the land fills.
