Ive only had two honey holes of note, but never one like that! I had one in upstate new york where a pulled a 23 SLQ, a 1920 canadian nickel (in awesome condition.. no red) 2 barber dimes and a buffalo nickel. I pulled 5 IHPs out of one hole in another park in upstate NY. That's a once in a million years hole. Congrats!
Haha, no, the term "honey hole" refers to a very productive spot or area, in this case, an actual hole, out of which ten coins were extracted, the newest being a 1919.
You guys would do yourselves a BIG favor if you were sifting your dirt and recording your spot with a utm reading....what if a train hit you and your location was lost forever?
Did you know that a 1916 D can sell for a thousand dollars in the worst condition.
