My husband Calvin and I lived in Ewa Beach, Hawaii from January 1967 to January 1971. He was stationed at Barber's Point with NAS Ordnance Department....Chief Brooks, Gunner Stricklen, Gunner Milroy...if there is anyone who was stationed there during that time would like to hear from you!

I was stationed at BP 1961-1963 with Utility Squadron One VU-1. I would like to see some pictures of the base during that time period. It was idylic! (It didn't seem to be at the time, though...!}

I was a navy brat while my folks were stationed @ Barbers Pt from 1956 - 1959.
As I recall my step-dad was an ATC with Fasron-17. If anyone has photos of the enlisted housing area of that time period I'd love to see them. We lived at the end of Boxer Rd.

I was stationed there from 164-1966 VR-21 aircrew

@barrettb1 BP was great. On Boxer Lane, they had installed the bathroom windows inside out - easy to see in, impossible to see out. LOL I discovered that when I found a congregation of neighbor men staring up at mine while a friend on vacation was drying off. ROFLOL She didn't listen.

@phill0329 Hi, I was home ported at BP late '73 to early '77. Had two deployments to RPI. Wife was a wave in VP-6 with me. We lived in the old officers quarters on Boxer "Lane"(it was a cul-de-sac) in '74. I was a jet mechanic. Spent most of the time attached to the NAS AIMD. Would like to get in touch with my old AIMD crewmates.

I was stationed in NAS Barbers Point 1987-1990 with VQ3 TACAMO. Good memories. Great post!
Thanks for posting your comment. I think the pictures were more of your time stationed at BP then myself.
