well i've recently re-ignighted my love for cardcaptor sakura and my second favorite couple of all time Yukito and Touya. I heard this song and i thought "OMG it's perfect! This sounds like what Touya would say!" and there you go, my first AMV was born. I'm a tad bit proud of it ^____^

second yes they are a couple, if you read the manga and watched the original japanese (which i doubt you did because their relationship was covered up to make it more "suitable" for children i suppose) it is stated clearly that touya is the one yukito has chosen for his true love, that touya has a secret crush on yuki that he hasn't told him yet, and that yuki flat out says to sakura when she's confessing her love to him:

@Paine22 Apparently although the translation for the scene is whacked, Yue does admit to Eriol that he "loves" Sakura in one conversation. I think there could be some definite master-created being stuff going on, but I also think it's definitely deeper than the bond between Li (or Sakura!) and Yukito... (I'm still a bit of a natural TYY fangirl so this disappointed me. But Yue being secretly devoted does not seem out of character at all to me.)

@EilonwynChan Oh yeah... That must have been who I was thinking when I wrote down Tomoyo. Sakura and Yue are only attracted to each other because Sakura's magic is in line with clows magic much like how Li was attracted to Yukito because of the magic.

@Paine22 Only one problem, Tomoyo/Eriol isn't really canon - it doesn't show up in the anime, I don't think, but Eriol has Kaho (remember, Toya's ex? Not creepy at all, right? XD). Also I've heard technically that Yue has an unrequited something-or-other for Sakura, similar to his issues with Clow...

Cardcaptor Sakura was my gateway to shonen-ai. I fell in love with the devotion Touya and Yukito had for one another; it's a real shame the English dubbed was so heavily edited. But fortunately we do have the original Japanese animation and manga.

So for those that claim to have watched Cardcaptors, and say Touya and Yukito were nothing more than friends, then sadly you were only exposed to a quarter of what really Cardcaptor Sakura was about.

@xMariax8BR You might not think they aren't gay but Clamp has stated that Touya Yukito are together and that they are as one puts it soulmates. If you read the Manga you will find out that they are together. The animes are played down in relationships because little kids do watch them from time to time so the relationships that are meant to be for cardcaptors are as followed:

Touya/Yukito | Tomoyo/Sakura (All though it is just a little crush for Tomoyo) | Tomoyo/Eriol | Li /Sakura | Li/Melin
