I'm a white woman, & as such, I like this song (yes, really!), & I like HER. I admire her strong-willed, assertive spirit. I respect the loyalty towards her own, and pride of who she is, that she expresses in this song. As far as her attacks/negative comments on 'white people', the title of the song is "The Hate That Hate Produced". I think the point is that hating/disrespecting 'the other kind' does not enforce dominance,it only breeds contempt. This also applies to gender relations.
