i was out surfing in satellite beach florida when i was a teen and about half way to the horizon there was a water spout. it was one of the coolest things i ever seen. the waves were about waist high and super glassy that day it was truly amazing. great video it took me right back to that day. thanks

Great footage.
Waterspouts are not totally uncommon off the coasts of Northern San Diego and Orange counties.
They are observed several times a year, yet they rarely make it all the way to the coastline.

It was a huge last blast very long super cell that produced these water spouts... It hailed dime size hail and made the streets white as the cell moved overhead... Thanks for the comment... bigtomscience
