First Look: Rihanna Opens Up About Chris Brown - Oprah's Next Chapter - Oprah Winfrey Network

On February 8, 2009, Rihanna and her then boyfriend, R&B star Chris Brown, got into a heated argument while driving home from a pre-Grammy party. According to police reports, the argument escalated into a violent attack. Chris was arrested for assault and pled guilty. Now, Rihanna opens up to Oprah about the night she says she lost her best friend. Plus, why Rihanna felt protective of Chris despite her anger.

The only thing I didn't like about the interview was I felt that Oprah didn't ask her anything about her behavior. She didn't ask about her drinking or partying or smoking or attention seeking behavior or anything like that. It was all sort of just filler until she was ready to ask her about Chris....

And plus you're right, we need to hear what Chris has to say, because obviously he knows she still loves him but isn't really making moves to get back with her....must be a reason why.

The simple answer , you can't be with them and you are trying to move on Kae wasn't the first person he dated after Rihanna.. She was just the one he dated the longest

So did you know they both came from abusive house holds and probably never had help with dealing with what that does to a person? Actually both of them would need counseling if they haven't received it. People tend to repeat the cycle that they grew up in until they get help

This is probably what made Chris break up with Kae. All I'm saying is, if they were gonna get back together, Chris shouldn't have brought another girl into the mix because now Kae's feelings are hurt. What they do is their business but if they want to get back together, they have to work it out.

Ugh that's just what abusers do to you! They manipulate you and make you feel sorry for them. They make you think that they're the victim and that it's your fault that they acted that way. Rihanna is acting like a classic abuse victim, saying how he didn't mean it and that he's really a good person. And now, there are rumors of them getting back together, which is also very common for an abused woman. She feels like she can't live without her abuser because he's convinced her that she's nothing
