Chetan doesn't know the difference between a book and a screenplay. If he thinks 3 idiots was his story, let him write the screenplay for a movie and he will know. Raju Hirani has proven himself again and again through his films. Raju Hirani never asked to be awarded a booker prize for his movie. Why does Chetan want the best screenplay award for a film for which he did nothing other than hearing the script after it was written. Chetan was free to write screenplay himself if he was so confident.

I'm sorry to say, thatt the basic story belongs to chetan bhagat, and "DUE" credit was hijacked from him. You people had no right to claim the "best story" award for just tweaking the book and adding some scenes.

@jajnsc : There was no discussion about the chetan asking for more money. He was explaining about the display of the name in the front of the movie..Just forget hirani or chetan and the documents. The story originality is taken from chetan. And generally every movies in the developed world are following like displaying the author's name in front of movies.Then why you follow this crooked method?. this is what am saying indian mentality.

Actually, the thing is that after 3 idiots becoming such a great Blockbuster, Chetan must have felt that what if his name had come in the starting of the movie, so he is speaking senseless things like these......,,,,,,,,,
