Anywhere by Evanescence - Tristan + Isolde

When they were children, they both saw tragedy. But as they grew older the grew kind hearts.

Isolde found Tristan on the beach, thought to be dead by his own people. After nursing Tristan back to health, Isolde finds herself falling in love with this stranger from across the strait. But, when he is forced to sail back to England because Isolde's father, the king of Ireland sets out to find him, she keeps their loved locked away in her heart.

It is announced that there will be a tournament to win her hand. She is unhappy, and still loves Tristan. But, it is when she see's Tristan as one of the competitor's for her hand, she is overjoyous and secretly roots for him to win..... When he does, she is informed that he had not actually won her.... But that he has won her in honour of Lord Mark of Cornwall - the man who is like a father to Tristan.

Heart broken, both Tristan and Isolde head across the water where she marries Mark.
After much concern is expressed over Tristan's depression, he finally gives into his love for Isolde and has a secret affair with her. But when Mark comes to Tristan in confidence over Isolde - he finds out that Mark truely loves her and has brought him back to life since the death of his wife and child a long time ago. Tristan calls off the love affair.... but Isolde objects.

This song is Isolde's heart reaching out to Tristan. "So by the mornings light, we'll be halfway to Anywhere" - pleading with him to run away with her and never look back.

In the end though, Mark finds out about their love affair and almost sentences the two to death when Isolde tells him their story, and grants them the choice to leave.... but Tristan, pushing Isolde into a boat and leaving her in the river says that he doesn't want people to say that their love brought down a kingdom and goes to fight beside King Mark..... and so he dies, as Isolde looks on.

@xNatalie24x - I don' think they have it on iTunes b.c. if was from a demo CD. It might be under a different name, but if you just search evanescence and listen to the songs on there that you don' t know, you might be able to find it...
