Interesting! this video might be the only one in youtube that features an interview of flashdance including Jennifer Beals. This doesn't even happen on the DVD. I mean, JB is not in it, which is so sad. She doesn't seem to like to talk about the movie that much, and in my opinion Flashdance is the movie where she shines the most, and that I most love seeing her do. I don't care if she's not a dancer. SHe should make a Flashdance sequel. She can do it and still look good in it!

@HeLovesCulture Jennifer Beals has had a long and very interesting career. She has never been an "out of work" actress. She has done a lot of indie films and my favorite role of her's was as "Bette Porter" on The L Word. Now, she is the lead star on the new FOX show, "The Chicago Code." She is also a brilliant photographer. About a year ago, JB released a book of photographs from her 6 years time working on "The L Word." She is so talented.
