I used to think as long as the burn doesn't hurt my eyes everything was ok. But that light is very heavy in the ultra-violet range that causes skin damage. Currently I have to have 20 to 30 spots per year of carcinoma skin cancer removed from my scalp or arms every two to three months. It hurts. Please wear protective gear.

you should multi tap the secondaries for power adjustment but you only have 2 MOTs so your just making it...maybe 3 or 4

@airportlakesestates ar you using the goggles at the start of the vid to weld with those are made for oxyacetylene wekdding only even if you changed the shade you will get sun burnt so get a proper helmet

@spitzification14 It was all I had at the time, and I didnt mind a little sunburn to the face as long as my Eyes were fine, I do know the risks of welding without proper gear, As I have welded Quite a bit.

@airportlakesestates i have use those goggles too with the shade 10 of course but i got all red around the area that the goggles dident cover

@spitzification14 Yep. Aint no fun. But i dont mind the burn as long as its not my retinas.
