@vineyardedge admitted, nice job with the cover. but i miss the articulation the geddy j-bass would give to this

good work

it does. i hate how fender jacked up the prices on everything. even some of the squiers. they definatly should definatly redo the entire thing. or is that how geddy lee likes it?

coming from you, that means something.. thank you.

Do you mind me asking why you chose to use the funk-style bass instead of the Geddy Lee signature it looks like in the background?

honestly.. it is playability.. even live, I am starting to realize I really do not like the Geddy Lee bass.. Geddy's is a US-made bass from 1970s.. the Japanese models.. are noisy, clunky, and just.. not my cup of tea.. at least mine is not. overall.. I use my Geddy bass, live, as a dropD bass only..

i do not like that bass either. its kind of heavy and you're right its not fun at all to play. i've played 2 and they are both like that.

I hate to say it.. but the bass sucks.. it's not worth even $300 to me.. and consider that Fender (on crack) is charging $1200+ for this piece of crap bass.. it's amazing. .sorry, but it really irks me.. and I got a good deal on the bass.. it looks nice.. that much I will say.. but otherwise.. it's useless.
