Benedict XVI: Entrust Ourselves to Mary

Let us entrust the Church and the whole world to the maternal intercession of the Madonna. This is the invocation delivered by Benedict XVI at the end of his speech at the Grotto of Lourdes in the Vatican Gardens for the traditional procession and recitation of the rosary at the conclusion of the Marian Month, on Tuesday evening. To listen to the words of the Pope were several hundred of the faithful. In his address, Benedict XVI also recalled that the Marian month opened this year with the beatification of John Paul II whose profound Marian devotion is to be followed as an example for everyone.
