When the building exploded and Sydney cried, it's like I totally felt her pain. The CIA guys died in there. :( And they had the real inhalers with them. If I was Sydney I would've have just tried to catch every bullet they were shooting.

@angeltochi1 umm how did i ruin it? there is like 10 people before me discussing lena olin and how she plays sydney's mom, so i was making the point that it was annoying that they were talking about it. but i will remove my message anyways if it ruined it for you, and im sorry if it did i was just trying to make a point to people that i didnt know that big reveal until they all wrote that here

@mvickers277 That's right. Not even by the season 1 finale had they cast Lena Olin. It was only before Season 2 had started.

@anovembersong Yeah, I know she wasn't cast... I just thought that they could have had her in mind and that's why they didn't show the current actress up close or anything... or maybe they just knew they were planning on getting someone else. Either way... I just said "pretty sure" because I didn't want to sound mean/know-it-all, lol... there's always a chance I could be wrong on something... so I try and be nice. :) lol

@mvickers277 Lena Olin was definitely not cast at this point, if you listen to the commentary of the season 1 finale, even the scene where you see Sydney's mom at the end, that's not Lena Olin because she wasn't cast until after shooting for season 1 was wrapped.

i love love love how the relationships between jack and sydney and sydney and vaughn develop in this show.....especially the syd/vaughn relationship. she didn't like him at first, then they became friends, now they're flirty and you can just SEE them falling in love with each other.... it's great!!!

I'm pretty sure that Lena Olin wasn't cast at this point. At least I know she wasn't technically a part of the cast until season 2.
