I made my flower bed rails from old wooden fences, bound for the local dump.

  • Very impressive work, did you use two heavy wires and what gauge or wire? Next did you twist the wire on each side of the flowerbed border wood, to prevent it from slipping? And do you use treated wood? I hope I don't ask too many questions-Aloha Caramia

  • I just used a role of electrical fence wire. That stuff lasts forever.

I used a staple gun. Hand trigger, but air gun would work better, as I had to hammer some in. No twisting. I used a 1/4 inch spacer between each board. I used old treated fence, bound for the junk yard. It will not last long, but it has lasted awhile. No, you do not ask too many questions. I'm loving this. This was a recyle project. I used, what I had. I added you as a friend! PEACE

cwaj, great imagination, something for nothing! Awesome idea!

  • Thank you, I will send it on to my friends. I also recycle my wood too. Electric fence wire, how clever, are more economical too for the project. You do beautiful work. Looking forward to watching all your videos. Aloha Caramia
