Yes it is. Toyota is one of a handful of companies who have been at the forefront of robotics for quite some time. Many of this type of technology is aimed at helping the elderly.

Amazing! It runs verry smooth! The only strange thing is how it bends it's knees. I never saw a human running like this. But other than this, it also makes me wonder how he will brake without falling over :-D As we don't get to see that.
