@alslevie1986 We all loved JR's nastiness, but it got a lot darker here. He had, for one of the few times, a moral outrage fueling his anger. Bobby, his business rival, but beloved rival, was dead and Sue Ellen walked right into a trap. JR unloaded a volley of scorn on Sue Ellen, reducing her to tears. It was classic Dallas, which by the end of the season, would be all but gone. It never really recovered. I hope the new version has this kind of intensity.

@955pokerface Yes Katherine showed up after Pam got burned when she crashed into the gas truck and got burned.

This was one of a few occasions when JR got really really mad, and every time he did...he destroyed someone, He destroyed Cliff Barnes more than once, he destroyed Sue Ellen on numerous occasions and that Barnes woman(His name for Pam).

It takes a Tragedy to see that Cliff actually does care for his Sister Pam. It took ( at the time ) Bobby's death to show he had more then hate in his heart.. Same goes for JR even if it was for a short time.

JR is taking this well...he;s a monster

@fishhead147 If you thought at age 7, sombody could be "homosexual" you have bigger issues than you are letting on.

I did have an issue with how they just kind of brushed the fact that Katherine MURDERED Bobby under the carpet. Pam, Miss Ellie & Cliff briefly discuss it & then it's like he just passed away in his sleep or something. Pam just schrugs it off by babbling "so much hate - oh, do we get all her money now?" OK, so I made up the latter part, but it was a BIG deal minimized too much. Jenna should have found out (it explained EVERYTHING that happened to her - Naldo, trial, jail) & gone after Pam's cash

When i was younger around 7 years old i watched the fist season of Dallas on DVD back and in the earlier episodes i always though J.R was gay because he never touched Sue Ellen and with the many affairs he could have going to great lengths to hide him being homosexual. I know now that thinking that was idiotic.

@Amar7605 JR could be scary when he was mad! Even Clayton knew not to push him here. Sue Ellen stumbled into a hornet's nest with her naive comment about "having the best day." Then, JR pounced! "Oh you had the best day did you?" Some great drama. Too bad it was all wiped out by "Pam's stupid dream." Notice there is a nice tapestry above the dining room doorway (part of the total redocoration of the house at start of this season) that was never there again. Guess they thought it too gaudy.
wtf? Victoria is AMAZING in these scenes

I think a better way to bring Bobby back would have been they faked his death.
