...UMG sent you a letter stating "do what i want with it"? Certainly, UMG sent you a letter stating exactly what you can and can not do with this video. And the reason they did this is that you broke copyright laws. But in this specific case they have decided to allow it to remain posted here. This is THEIR decision, not yours. They COULD have had it pulled. And to suggest that they stated "do whatever you want with it" is not so.

again, you trivialize. There is something called context. My point was how ridiculous it is to simply state "no pro cameras", but that is NOT what they did: they quantified the measure and further detailed. I realize that you didn't attend an 02 show, but you used them as the measure, to which you did not pass.

...02's classification of what is a "professional camera" is by not the "law", it is simply THEIR measure, which is why they further quantified the measure. So, when you say "my camera is not, i repeat NOT a professional one (i.e. an SLR, which constitutes to be one)", you are incorrect: you are doing nothing more than using 02's classification, and, by recording video and audio, you did in fact act contrary to the rules to which you are measuring your activities and so broke copyright law.

you rather trivialized my argument as you found a reputable arena that DOES state this, but it does so as part of a larger disclaimer as to what is and what is not acceptable. ie. it does not simply state "no professional cameras", rather it very pointedly states what is/is not acceptable with quantifiable measures. In the clauses, you will see, "...the use of video or audio equipment is strictly prohibited AT ALL TIMES as are video and audio recordings".
