if fighting is banned more players will be hurt. if they wanna stop senseless hits that lead to injuries keep these guys (enforcers) on the ice. its their job to protect their teammates. how often was yzerman hurt when probie was on the wings? how often was gretzky hurt with mccsorley on his team? fact is these guys knew their job and did it well. its a respect factor. most players now dont have it. ban fighting and the NHL will loose most of their fans. its hockey, not a sissy sport.
