@123iass Aikido relies on your wish not to engage in a fight, but rather avoid the confrontation. Jujutsu is an art that evolved from this same idea into a sport competition, so today jujutsu and bjj are just synonyms for wrestling.
Aikido, trad. jujutsu and traditional arts in general are expecting you to work hard yet softly, daily and think about every movement you make to understand it. But Martial Sports like those you mentioned are going the way of strenght and automatisation.

I think aikido is useful to know as a complementary skill set with a main kickboxing based martial art. Aikido by itself it not that great I feel jujitsu is more realistic as a non kickboxing martial art that is effective against kickboxing based techniques. Just look how many guys in MMA are jujitsu/kickboxing cross trained.

Stop to lie. This is not aikido vs kick boxing.

@pokefanmehmet I understand your point but dont insult us American's please. Id like to see more martial arts demonstrated on here from the country it was originally made in too. Just cause some American's are ignorant dont mean they all are.

isn't there 1 Japanese akido master on you tube you freaking Americans act like you can fight like a real Japanese man well enough jealousy you will never be Japanese

It's not a real fight !

I would like to see this used in a real fight, cause here the aikido guy is starting his movement at the same time as the attacker. That would not happen in a real fight, you wouldn't know what's next. Seems every time I see an aikido video, its always a demonstration. Fuck this shit.

vs?!...kickboxing!?....ouahaha
hah! change title please! -
That's Aikido vs Karate....not kickboxing.
What is it with the VS? This is some Aikido guy demonstrating how to defend vs kicks... Nothing more. Bad? No but defenetly not vs anything.
