I believe the sound was actually someone off camera (apparently trying to imitate a seal). Seals do not make sounds (like a sea lion will). The only sound a seal will make is a blowing sound (raspberries) usually as a warning to get away.

@kvblakely that sound is actually the harbor seal! i've worked with harbor seal pups for about 6 years now, and they make that sound all the time - it sounds like they are saying "ma! ma!" ~ thanks for watching!
