TURN ON ANNOTATIONS
A RPG (Role Playing Game), this is the second generation of the Pokémon franchise which includes Gold, Silver, and Emerald. Players are able to play the new Johto region along with the previous Kanto region after beating the Elite 4 for the first time.
The second generation of Pokémon video games began in 2000 with the release of Pokémon Gold and Silver for Game Boy Color. Like the previous generation, an enhanced remake titled Pokémon Crystal was later released. It introduced 100 new species of Pokémon (starting with Chikorita and ending with Celebi), for a total of 251 Pokémon to collect, train, and battle. New gameplay features include a day-and-night system (reflecting the time of the day in the real world) which influences events in the game; full use of the Game Boy Color's color palette; an improved interface and upgraded inventory system; better balance in the collection of Pokémon and their moves, statistics and equippable items (a new addition); Pokémon breeding; a new region named Johto and the ability to select the protagonist's gender. Unique to the second generation games is the fact that, after exploring Johto, the player can enter and explore the original Kanto region, which lies to the east of Johto.
As of May 8th, 2009 a 10th anniversary remake of Gold, Silver, and Crystal will be released as Heart Gold and Soul Silver. It will be released in Japan late 2009 and the rest in 2010.
This video will show what is played when the main character is in Goldenrod City
Goldenrod City (Japanese: コガネシティ Kogane City) is a sprawling metropolis located in western Johto. It is the largest city in the region, rivaling Saffron City, the largest city in Kanto and Goldenrod's "sister city" in many ways in size. Goldenrod is the center of the region's economy and telecommunications. Major attractions for Trainers include the Johto Radio Tower, the city's Department Store, Game Corner, Name Rater, and Gym.
Pokémon Trainers often come to Goldenrod City in order to win the Plain Badge from Whitney, the Goldenrod Gym Leader, who specializes in Normal-type Pokémon.
The National Park is located north of Goldenrod off of Route 35 while the Pokémon Daycare is just south of the city on Route 34.

No problem. I can take that criticism. It wasn't the best I made. In fact, I had another version that was better, but that was done months from this.
Thanks though.

Thanks for that comment. This video, I felt, overall was off by a split second.
