It doesn't matter if u were Chinese black or native American or any other minority. We all endured some type of hardship. No one other race endured worse because we haven't been in the others shoes to know. But we all suffered then.

The Indians were worse off than the Chinese, and yes, though Chinese women were considered some of the lowest of the low, and unless they were of some means, they weren't really "revered" in their own country either. The Chinese at least had the opportunity to have the freedom to make a new life for themselves through enterprise and hard work (and unmutilated feet). Many became powerful and wealthy through their work ethic and education, Men and Women both.
