Wow, I am a die hard beamer fan and I cant believe what im hearing here. Yes the bmw is a beauty that has the best of luxury and performance, but the corvette has always been about nothing else but performance, PERIOD!

LSX engines are the best motors out there. Despite the displacement, these motors are simple and very efficient in both fuel and power. As far as handling, have any of you guys driven a z06? Those things handle very well. The beamer is e-z to handle but the vette isnt horrible.

America has never won Le Mans! British made the only so called "American" car that won Le Mans way back in the 60s Chevy or Dodge haven't won it once. ALMS is American it would be embarrassing if you didn't at least win that. It's easy making a fast car we did it with the 599XX and Zonda R, try making a fast car that is comfortable and luxurious and that where the genius is.

Europe dose both. America just does fast, nothing special.

I know a big chunk of Ferrari victories are F1 but don't you think that backs my point even more, Ferrari racing Superiority.

Don't be offended by Ferrari and Porsche racing success, you should respect it as both Ferrari and Porsche are the biggest names in the racing business, chevy and dodge have at least 60yrs to go before they can even be compared logically with Porsche and Ferrari.
