Killing overseer Fallout 1

Yes... It is possible to kill the overseer in fallout 1 :)
I was so upset when he told me to leave the vault XD

@vinchisters Wasn't that the overseer from vault 8 or whatever one Vault City is based off? Or is Vault City made up of people from 13?

When I talked to the first citizen she had no idea of what Vault 13 was.

I had bloody mess and my character just pulled out a 10mm and shot him in the back. And he still blew apart. Looks better when you get him with a gatling laser though.

@Savci008 It is revealed in F2 that the overseer was either banished from the vault after your exile or killed. Because he dies either way, I kinda think that the VD shot him in canon

From a canonical (canon) viewpoint, would the Vault Dweller kill the overseer rather because he is pissed as f**k, or would he do it to ultimately scare everyone off from trying to leave the vault ever again, in a bloody way to show how the wasteland has changed him, so to say?

I managed to kill overseer aswell, about 10 years ago. :) Me and my friend agreed that he's a bastard so kept tapping A (attack) after he finished his speech. We were pretty suprised when the attack mode has turned on. Then we laugh seeing him crawling while badly wounded and dying. Becoming outcast wasn't so painful after that. Now after 10 years I still think that he deserved to be killed. :)

Also I recently beat this game for the first time in over a decade, I found it in my closet behind my dresser. I went totally evil and had the bloody mess perk. Honestly after playing every fallout game so far besides 2 this one still looks good for it's age. I just ordered Fallout 2 off of Ebay and can't wait till I get it, I heard it was even better than the first.
