After our visit to the Americans for Prosperity event Wednesday night, Lord Monckton came to the SustainUS booth at the UN climate negotiations to lecture us with his false climate change denier propaganda. Then he called our Jewish Communications Director and all U.S. youth "Hitler Youth". Given your line of reasoning, lakusa ("GW causes extreme weather...winters too cold, summers too hot...") you'd blame the Pleistocene ice ages on global warming.

Explain the mechanisms responsible for massive glaciation carving out the Great Lakes and altering continents, inspiring new flora and fauna (and then their demise), causing sea levels to drop 450 feet, etc.

If you could identify the forces responsible for causing worldwide cooling and glaciation, then maybe we'd have a real debate.

I do have long term trends of politicians pushing tax schemes and other sneaky ways of trying to pat themselves on the back for saving the world while stealing the wallet out of your pocket. HOWEVER, this is a common misconception about weather extremes. GW causes weather extremes, winters are too cold, summers too hot, short falls and springs, everything gets messed up! You need to look beyond your nose! You are talking about short term trends, but GW is about long term trends and weather extremes which have been showing that climate has been changing!
