..How did you replace the HP Logo with an Apple on the boot/splash screen? I'm not talking about chameleon, talking about when it shows the screen when you first turn it on

I'm not quite sure. I installed nvdarwin, the alc268 driver, the realtek 1000 driver, the battery fix, and the ps/2 keyboard fix. It just worked. It even worked when I was choosing a user picture right after install.

it was custom made so it matches the HP brand.

Oh, okay. Anyways, just wanted to thank you for this video, and the link to that thread. It helped me get OSX86 on my dv6871us! My webcam even works! The only thing that doesn't is sleep. Oh well, who needs sleep?
