It was exactly this way he acted that caused the "revolution" that western powers were behind. They did not like an asian country like Iran to progress and become better than themselves. They did not like the goals and plans of His Imperial Majesty Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi to make Iran a modern, strong, wealthy state.
